Fine Arts Pathways

Once students reach High School, they can choose from a variety of Fine Arts Electives for their required Fine Arts credit. Each of these electives allows students to specialize in their area of interest and refine their skills. The music and art departments host two Fine Arts Nights each year, serving as exciting performance goals for students to showcase their growth and talents to the school community. These events celebrate the dedication and creativity of the students, providing a platform for them to shine and share their musical and artistic accomplishments.

Music Electives: In the String Orchestra Electives, students can learn and master instruments such as the violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Concert Band Electives offer instruction in a variety of wind, brass, and percussion instruments. Meanwhile, the Vocal Elective focuses on vocal techniques, harmonization, and ensemble singing, allowing students to develop their voices as instruments of expression.

In addition to regular instruction and performances, students in these programs will also have the opportunity to prepare for All-State and Honor Ensemble auditions. For those who wish to participate, dedicated support and guidance will be provided to help them work toward these prestigious audition opportunities. Parents and students interested in All-State auditions are encouraged to check out the program website or email for more information.
